How to Check Oil in Car? The most important part of the car is the engine and the most important thing of the engine is the engine oil, if there is no engine oil there is no engine and ultimately you are not going anywhere on that car.
The oil covers all of the engine moving parts which help them work efficiently and also for the long term and it also keeps the engine clean.
Checking the oil is pretty easy and can be done with some simple steps and it is recommended to change the oil at every car service.
How to check the oil level
Check the car’s manual for all the instructions to check the engine oil some of the cars have an electronic meter for checking the level of the oil and most of the cars have a dipstick to check the level of it.

If you are checking the oil, make sure the car is parked in a safe place, and the engine is cold so that you don’t burn yourself, and make sure the engine is off.
After all of the above instructions, open the hood of the car and get the dipstick and clean it and put it in the oil part you will see the oil level and check if it is low or high. If you have an electric meter and you will see the oil level there, just change it easily.
When you pull out the dipstick, you will see the oil on it and probably the level at which the oil should be, it may be marked as L and H meaning low and high.

Also, check the colour of the oil if it is anywhere from dark brown to black, you need to change it immediately.
Other than the engine colour, you should also check the oil for any metal particles, it may mean that the engine has internal damage and some part of the engine may need to be replaced, consult your mechanic for further procedure.
If all of the things seem okay wipe the dipstick and put it back in its place.
How to add oil to the Engine
When you are planning to change the oil of your car, check the manual and find which grade of oil is recommended for your vehicle.
First of all, empty the current oil which is inside the vehicle and after you did that, remove the oil filler cap in the engine under the hood and start filling the oil little by little and keep checking the level of the oil, when you have done with filling, close the cap and start the car.
